ECO – MATERIALS

Our commitment to the environment is reflected in the efforts we have taken and the choices we have made to source materials and implement practices that are socially and environmentally sound and responsible. We welcome suggestions and feedback in this regard.

Environment

SHIRTS

We use sustainable, organic and socially- as well as environmentally-responsible garments. The shirts we source are made using low impact farming (low water and carbon footprint) and fair trade practices (sweat-shop labour and child labour free).

INKS

We have our garments and prints/posters printed with vegetable-based inks rather than the more commonly used petroleum-based inks. Vegetable-based inks are renewable and pose much less environmental and health risks than petroleum-based alternatives.

PACKAGING

We package our products in biodegradable packaging and in 100% recycled cardboard.

PRINTS/POSTERS

The print stock we use is a 100% recycled paper, is FSC Recycled Chain of Custody certified and is manufactured in EMAS and ISO 14001 accredited facilities. These environmental credentials mean that the sourcing is from sustainably well-managed forests and that stringent environmental responsibility standards are in place. We have selected a print service company with a track record of innovation in and commitment to environmental initiatives.

PAPER

In the office, we use 100% recycled paper. Waste paper is recycled or reused and minimized wherever possible.
