John Pilger
Australian journalist, documentary film maker and activist. Throughout his career John has produced around 60 documentaries, his latest: The Coming War On China. A long-time critic of US foreign policy and imperialism and the supportive role of the Australian government. His current activism focuses on press freedoms, propaganda and the support of whistleblowers. He advocates strongly for the release of Julian Assange.

Max Blumenthal
An award-winning journalist, author and film maker. His latest book The Management of Savagery, deals with the blowback of terrorism and ultra-nationalism as a by-product of US foreign policy. Killing Gaza is his latest documentary. Blumenthal founded the independent news website, The Grayzone, in 2015 to shine a journalistic light on America's state of perpetual war and its dangerous domestic repercussions. He co-hosts the Moderate Rebels podcast with Ben Norton.

Abby Martin
Independent, investigative journalist and activist. Creator and presenter of The Empire Files - a show that critically documents modern US imperialism. Her latest documentary, Gaza Fights for Freedom takes a raw look at the misery endured by Palestinians at the hands of Israeli occupation and genocide. Mumia Abu-Jamal
Radio journalist, author, former member of the Black Panther Party and supporter of Philadelphia’s radical MOVE organization, Mumia is the most well-known US political prisoner - formerly on death-row and incarcerated since 1981 for the alleged killing of a police officer. Mumia continues his journalism from within prison with the production of the Prison Radio podcast and has authored a number of books. His latest work is a three-part book series with Stephen Vittoria on US imperialism entitled Murder Incorporated.

Chris Hedges
Veteran journalist, war correspondent and Pulitzer Prize-winner. An outspoken and early opponent of the US plan to invade and occupy Iraq. Currently a senior fellow at the Nation Institute .
