Division is a product of indoctrination - a cultural phenomenon that pits us against the other. Those that enable and promulgate division do so for their own agendas of conquest - ideological conquest, religious conquest, economic conquest. The machinations that drive division are despotic and loathsome. We must wake up and see that when we remain pawns in these games, we are contributing to the misery and suffering that fundamentalist ideals bestow upon the world. Unity is a brotherhood and sisterhood of cultural acknowledgment and respect. It is an equalizer and the path to progress and happiness.
